    Horrible! Very unhappy with Samsung Appliances!

    i built a custom home 2 1/2 years ago and filled it with samsung appliances. what a huge mistake! every single one of them has had issues in less than two years. this refrigerator creates a block of ice on the freezer side at the bottom it will never go away. it’s started within six months and you can’t get the drawer out because it’s frozen shut. technician came out and gutted it, and still it has the exact same issue!! i will never buy another samsung appliance again, not ever! and i will make sure not to recommend them either. if you call their customer service they will give you the runaround after the one-year warranty. it’s been such a nightmare and i’m so disappointed! what a waste of money!

    this refrigerator purchased in 2017 required a new evaporator fan. after finding a service tech who would work on samsung appliances, i was charged $200 for the part and over $200 to install. i not be buying samsung appliances in the future after another new refrigerator purchased in 2020 had a defective ice maker and samsung would not make the repair under warranty.

    the computer motherboard completely failed after just two years. it cost us nearly $500 in repairs. samsung flatly refused to pay for any of our cost. did we buy a lemon? we think so. consumer reports will get an earful. also the surface easily scratches with simple everyday use. plus, it leaves fingerprints and hand prints everywhere and required constant cleaning. the ice maker only works occasionally and the entire refrigerator is one of the noisiest we have ever owned. should a refrigerator die after two years if normal use? we say no. samsung was not willing to even listen. can't say we will ever trust a samsung product again.

    i purchased this fridge in jan 2020 and received it in feb 2020. in october 2020 i had to have a repair service completed due to a grinding noise (similar to an airplane taking off) occurring. now, less than 12 months later, here i am again with the same noise, yet this time it's not covered under warranty so i'm out this cost. my last fridge was a whirlpool and lasted for 10 years. i'm incredibly disappointed about this fridge and would recommend steering clear from samsung brand appliances.

    i am glad some people like this but i am not one. 9 months after purchase was so loud with fan hitting ice build up you could tell when it was running anywhere in the house. one good thing was "fixed"under warranty. bad thing is same issue about 9 months after "fix". now not under warranty and pretty sure there isn't a fix anyway other than defrosting any time it start getting noisy. looking for new fridge.
