    Love everything about this ice maker. The ice cubes are perfect size and consistency. There is never a shortage. And it’s so easy to access the ice bucket and scoop.

    We purchase this stand alone ice maker to supplement the freezer ice when having parties. The whole family prefers it’s ice and we never use freezer made ice anymore. Love the reminder light feature letting you know it’s time to change the water filter and clean. The rack for holding the ice scoop is great, never have to search for a scooper. Makes perfect ice!

    We have had this ice maker for 2 years and it has been great. All you have to do is replace the filter and clean it everyone and then. Highly recommend this item.

    At just over the 3 year anniversary of my purchase, this unit began not making ice. It was determined the water valve had failed and was replaced. Within a week of this fixing the issue, the unit now produced too much ice, so much so that it would spill out when opening the door. This was determined to be a bad Bin Thermistor - a relatively cheap and easy fix. All was well for another month or so until again the unit stopped making ice. This time the inside was incredibly hot. Now it is determined the hot gas valve has seized which is at least a $400 repair. I realize ice makers are typically high maintenance appliances, but for this to be in like-new condition and cleaned as prescribed every 6 months since installation, it is unacceptable to have failed just a month after the warranty expired - and not just one component, but three separate ones.

    We just had this installed a few days ago. It is very loud, hot air blows out of it nonstop and it is like having the sound of a dishwasher with constant running water along with an almost high pitched hissing sound running nonstop. For the price, I am disappointed. It is running so we do have ice. But in order to be near it, you have to deal with hot air blowing out on you, which is frustrating as I am doing anything in the kitchen and its like having a small heater turned on with no off switch.
