Front Load Perfect Steam Gas Dryer with Instant Refresh and 8 cycles - 8.0 Cu. Ft.

Bought this item a few a fews or so ago during a complete home remodel. Just took it out of the box about a month ago...beautiful unit and it works perfectly. This is my 1st Electrolux appliance, and I will definitely buy again in the future barring any future mishaps!

Purchased this dryer (w/ matching washer) on salespersons recommendation. Knew within first day there was a problem. Despite washer spinning clothing to a near-dry state, dryer would not dry load in one single cycle (adjusting heat settings will not help much). I realised that clothes were becoming trapped on the large shelf-type lint screen with restricts air flow significantly making the dryer totally insufficient. You have to constantly be stopping dryer and manually removing clothes from lint SHELF and tossing back into the tumbler otherwise items stuck on lint SHELF will stay damp whilst other items tumble and dry. If you aren't available to manually rotate load, you end up with a load full of wet and dry clothes. Very irritating. This design flaw is so obvious that I cannot imagine how this dryer even made it to production. Just peruse other reviews on this model and you will see that every owner has the exact same complaint. And yet when you speak to Electrolux representative, they claim to be unaware of this issue...like it's the first time they've ever had such a complaint. Any buyer that is satisfied with this dryer has clearly never had a decent dryer to compare it to. As owners of multiple rental homes, my husband and I are constantly buying appliances. I can tell you that we have never had a complaint from our tenants regarding any of the cheap, renter-suitable appliances we've purchased and yet we go ahead and buy ourselves the best of the best and it is complete junk. Really disappointed with Electrolux as well as the store we purchased from (Trail Appliances).

My dryer is not quite 2 years old and it is now in need of over $400.00 in repairs. It’s only my husband and I who live here and the dryer does NOT get overused and abused. I’m so disappointed in Electrolux and wish I never made the purchase. My last dryer was over 20 years old and I never needed repairs. I should have stuck with that old thing.
