When we updated our kitchen appliances and bought the black stainless suite, we also needed to replace our trash compactor. Sadly, it didn’t come in the same black stainless finish, so we opted for the black finish. It fits in with everything and, unless someone is looking for it, it goes unnoticed that it’s not the same finish. That being said, it’s quite an upgrade from our previous compactor that we nicknamed Wall-E (like the Disney movie). It was loud enough to hear from the back yard! The only complaint I really have about it would be finding the right size bags that are the perfect fit.

With the rebate we received from our other KitchenAid appliances, we were able to buy this trash compactor. Works great for big pizza boxes and other clumsy items.

I purchased this appliance very recently. It was installed couple of weeks.I have not had the chance to use it. I am confident. That it will function well. I have faith in kitchen aid. I have been using kitchen aid apliances for 25 Year’s.

Have had one in the past I was aware of the ability to put a weeks worth of trash in one container. I wonderful job it does. Considered to be an appliance of the past, we believe every house should have one.

We had to replace the Kitchen Aid trash compactor after 18 years of use. We decided to go with Kitchen Aid since we had such success with the previous one. I had it install in an hour. The instructions are easy to follow and I am impressed with the new features. The controls are hidden and there is a very convenient foot control. I think it is quieter than the one we took out.
