    I bought three Maytag appliances for my kitchen and my favourite appliance is the dishwasher. It is very quiet. You have no idea it is running unless you put your ear right up to it and still cannot be sure, it is super quiet. It cleans well. I use the economy cycle (1 hour) and it is good performance. It has never given me any problems, the water gets steaming hot. I also appreciate the 7 minute rinse cycle which I use often. This is a phenomenal dishwasher; I would not buy any other dishwasher than a Maytag.

    The dishwasher cleans the dishes great. Cleaner than they have come out of the dishwasher in years. But, I do not like the towel rack bar on the front (a drawer from the other corner hits it every time), the utensils container is huge - it could be 2/3 or 1/2 the size, the rows of rungs are very equally placed which doesn't give varying space with a variety of sizes of baking dishes and pans so you practically have to lay them flat and the racks slide in with such force that the dishes fall out of place and down.

    This dishwasher has a lot of space and is very quiet when running. The only downside that I have noticed is that top rack doesn't really have a flat space to place wooden mixing spoons and spatulas on for washing. Not really a dealbreaker just a nuisance.

    I have installed Frigidaire, whirlpool, Samsung and LG. None last and all didn't clean. I buy this, skeptical of the reviews. Man, no matter how much grime, this sucker cleans. Maytag fan for life... Also, when they say finger print resistant, they mean it.
