    i am still not thrilled with this range for several reasons (the black finish peels off per the photo, it is my first glass-top range and i don't like the fact that it needs constant cleaning and gets scratched easily, the oven handle is difficult to clean when the ends meet the stove). but i now have an appreciation for samsung standing behind its products since they repaired the panel that has the clock, oven settings and timer...) thank you samsung!

    i bought the range in 2017 and am having to have it serviced in 2021. the digital components are failing. research online shows me this is a common problem except at less than 5 years old is unacceptable and costly to repair. i anticipate having to replace the control panel now. i get it, the glass top scratches, but it's annoying how worn it looks in the short amount of ownership time. i do not cook a lot and follow the manufacturer instructions for cleaning. i would invest a little more next time.

    the stove top is hard to keep clean. wiping is rarely enough. the special stove top cleaner is not able to remove all of the spots. it has developed permanent mars. the range of heat settings on the burners is not adequate. the low and moderate settings are too hot. they don't go low enough to simmer. one of the burner knobs doesn't click in when turned to high.

    i purchased this stove in october 2018. a few weeks ago the characters on the digital display began flickering constantly. after some research i discovered this is a very common problem at about the 1-2 year point. samsungs' solution seems to be have the customer pay for a service call and replace the mother board (which apparently doesn't always fix the issue). there should not be an issue at 1-2 years old - especially given the cost of the stove. given how widespread this issue is i'm surprised there hasn't been a recall. i love the bread proof feature - which is why i bought the unit... but if this is the quality and customer service level - i won't be buying another samsung and i can't see paying 1/2 the cost of a new one for repairs with no guarantee it will fix the issue...
