    Poorly made - lasted 2 years, 8 months, normal use

    Purchased the washer/dryer combo. The dryers started rattling after 2 years and eventually the drum guides became so out of line that the drum would scrape and vibrate. The cost to repair (out of the warranty period) was not worth it since it was obvious the unit is poorly made. We opted to replace the unit.

    This dryer sounds like my old Volkswagen bug with headers! It is so loud that nobody can talk near it. It bangs, it rumbles, it makes sounds I have never heard before and it is terrible. Do not get one! unless you like service calls!

    We’ve been in our new house almost three weeks and I’m very happy to have the instant refresh cycle. The majority of our clothes were stored in wardrobe boxes for quite awhile and looked terrible when unpacked. Using the refresh cycle solved the problem!

    I was initially in need of a new washer and my old gas dryer was still working well. But when I decided to choose the Electrolux product, it made sense to get the dryer as well so that I could stack the units. While I've only had the new units for a month, I'm extremely pleased. The steam option, 15-minute quick dry and the light in the drum are all features that add to the appeal of this unit. Since my sibling had owned similar Electrolux products for many years without experiencing any problems made this purchase even easier to justify.
