    Great Cooktop

    I reallylove this new cooktop. Only issue I have encountered so far is that the knobs are sensitive and will "click" as if they are being lit if something is barely touching. We had one day when we were cooking that it kept "clicking" as if igniting but was already going and nothing was near the knobs.

    It is my first gas cooktop so my review may not be the one to read. Due to many delays, I received a dinged cooktop in the rear of center element. I accepted it as I had no clue when I would get a replacement. I feel the flames are high and cook uneven, but I have been an electric cooktop user for majority of my life. I am having the installer return to my home to see if the ding in the rear of the cooktop is the culprit. It cleans easily. It is deeper than other gas cooktops, so the installer will need to cut into the drawer, but same was needed with my electric cooktop in my prior home. Still very worth it. I know the quality is superb. I just wish the delivery delays were not so extensive. I actully ordered the glass gas cooktop, but it is make in Germany, which no known ETA. My only frustration is the instructions specifically re the Simmer cap is not expliciit enough due to so many models.

    This is an amazing cooktop! I have truly enjoyed cooking again with this cooktop! 5 burners is a must in our family and having plenty of space to spread big pots and skillets out is a great benefit. This is easy to clean and it simply looks sleek in our remodeled kitchen. The only "negative" I have is that when I place pans on the cooktop, the burner knobs depress just a bit and start clicking. It was a little adjustment not to place anything on the knobs. A small adjustment for a wonderful tool.

    I don't know if this is normal. All the igniters stay on when using unit. I would think this will burn them out quickly. I am a licence plumbing contractor and have installed may gas stoves-cooktops and have never incountered this. Is this normal for this unit. This unit is in my home.
